Recently a friend of mine made a bad investment in internet real estate which ended badly. For him it meant losing about $7000 dollars he never really had. Doral Bank Direct is Offering a simple 1.90% APY on their one year CD. This is not the best rate out there, but is pretty comparable to the rates we have seen currently with the market.

With the continued increase in bank defaults, bank with peace of mind through the Pentagon Federal Credit Union. Here are their latest rates on Money Market accounts.
